Receptionist for a busy and rapidly growing clinical research site for Phase Ib-IV studies. General responsibilities include receiving and directing study participants, visitors, vendors, and clients to appropriate locations and parties. Notifies appropriate personnel of visitor arrival. May operate a single or multiple position telephone switchboard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer, assist, and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet study participants and all visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Welcomes study participants and all visitors, provides necessary intake forms, entry and update of general information in the system
- Perform related clerical work such as typing, filing, and sorting mail distribution
- Prepare shipping labels and order FedEx and UPS pickups and deliveries
- Schedule and/or verify study participant upcoming study visit
- Confirm upcoming (next-day) scheduled appointment
- Ensure the waiting room, conference room, and break areas are organized and supplies are stocked
- Provide administrative support when needed/as assigned by Site Director
- May assist recruitment specialists when needed/as assigned by Site Director
- May prepare and mail any recruitment materials to community/physician offices
- May coordinate businesses lunches and other related duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Two years of reception experience (or equivalent customer related ability)
- Prior medical office experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:30 PM
